California Congressman: ‘American Citizens Shouldn’t Get Priority Over Illegal Immigrant’

Tuesday night, Democratic House Representative for the San Francisco Bay Area in California rejected the notion that American citizens should have priority over illegal immigrants.

The Congressman went on Tucker Carlson’s show on Fox News where he insinuated that the government shouldn’t favor American citizens because we’re, “all human,” and that all illegal immigrants should get a pathway to American citizenship

Here’s the clip:

Representative Swalwell made claims like, “we’re all in this together” and “we’re all humans,” to try to make it seem like there is no difference between the two groups. He willfully ignores the fact that we Americans are citizens and illegal immigrants are not. Probably because it helps his agenda. He then eluded Tucker’s question referencing who the money should go to by quoting a saying from his mother, “a rising tide lifts all boats,” to try to insinuate that we would all be helped by illegals gaining citizenship.

Representative Swalwell’s views go right along with his party’s on illegal immigration from this past year’s election. The Democrats were – and still are – in favor of amnesty for all illegal immigrants. Their official 2016 platform stated:

“Those immigrants already living in the United States, who are assets to their communities and contribute so much to our country, should be incorporated completely into our society through legal processes that give meaning to our national motto: E Pluribus Unum.”

This goes along with their globalist-type message of everyone being basically world citizens, and them trying to be more accepting of everyone. It allows them to seem more inclusive to the Hispanic group that they often pander to. This message is actually a quite different tune once you realize that just over a decade ago Obama, Clinton, Schumer, and Biden supported legislation for more border security, which included a border fence.
