Francisco graduated from Roger Williams University in 2016 with a major in Accounting, and minors in Spanish, Finance, and Management. At Roger Williams, he was two year captain for their D3 Nationally ranked wrestling program. Intermatwrestle.com and the NWCA ranked Francisco nationally in the top 10 for four consecutive years. He was a 2x Academic All-American, and had over 100 career victories. He was selected as Male Rookie of the Year in 2013 by the University. While at Roger Williams, Francisco was a Resident Assistant, and served as an executive treasurer for class council managing a $100,000 budget. As a first generation Cuban, he served as a member of the Athletics Inclusion Community at the University.
Francisco represented the school in other capacities as well. He was voted by student body to be on Homecoming Court, and was selected to be a guest judge for the 2015 Poetry Slam. He was a tour guide for the Spring of 2014 and 2015 and was also the student speaker for a series of events in 2015 known as “Accepted Students Day”, cumulatively he spoke to nearly one thousand future parents and students in the field house.
Francisco travelled overseas for wrestling to compete in freestyle in Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Ireland. There he competed with members from Olympic teams such as Malta, Wales, Northern Ireland, Costa Rica, and England. There he defeated a Maltese wrestler who had placed 5th at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.
He is currently a State and Local Tax Accountant at the Big 4 in the New York metropolitan area. He has a focus in income tax compliance as well as indirect tax controversies, compliance, planning, audit defense and advising for technology and telecommunication companies.
